Overview

Systematic reviews and meta-analyses are important in synthesising research to determine the efficacy of an intervention. However, conducting quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses that have high impact on the field takes time and expertise. Thus, this one-day online workshop is designed to give an overview of concepts and methodology, and guidance to support further learning about the process of systematic review and meta-analysis. The course will be useful if you are planning or performing a systematic review, or to enable you to interpret published reviews as the workshop will have presentation by experienced academics personnel followed by hands-on training.

Objectives

The workshop is designed with the objectives of getting participants to understand the importance of systematic reviews and able to develop a protocol for conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis.
