Theme: Adapting Oral health Research & Clinical Practice during COVID-19 Pandemic

Date : 6-8 September 2021 (Monday – Thursday)

Since the inception in the year 2017, MySOMOI has been organizing international conferences every year. The first was held on 14-15 August 2018 in collaboration with the Faculty of Dentistry UM. The second was held on the 19-20 Nov 2019 in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The 3rd ICOMOI was conducted in collaboration with the 13th Postgraduate Conference UM. With those success stories, MySOMOI is planned to organize the 4th ICOMOI in September 2021.

This year, the theme for the 4th ICOMOI is “Adapting Oral health Research & Clinical Practice during COVID -19 pandemic.” Needless to say, COVID-19 affected the life and norm of almost everything worldwide. It is well evident that our working condition, approached have also changed to adhere with the situation. Consequently, this also affects our approach and capabilities towards continuing research in this challenging time.

Hence, the expected diverse discussions and presentations of ideas, new research approaches on various aspects of oral health, and its link to the overall well-being will help the health care professionals, academicians, researchers, and policymakers have a better view of the status and future perspectives.
